It’s been awhile

I am writing this post just one month shy of 7 years since my last one. It’s wild how many years can pass in such a short time...

After years of being caught up in the world of instant gratification, all information accessible at my fingertips, etc, I am longing for slower days. I miss the days where staying in touch with people required some sort of effort. Like phone calls, letters, emails, or reading blogs! 

While I have no idea if anyone will ever read my posts, I like the idea of my kids having a digital platform of looking back at our lives, but one that is more of a story rather than just a picture here and there, or some random status update. 

So if anyone is reading this...hi! It’s been awhile...
